These are some images from a number of different designers that were exhibiting at The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair in Manchester and who's work I found inspiring and enjoyed seeing. I particularly found Kaper's paper sculptures fascinating along with the style of Kirsty Pearson's drawing of her jewellery and Lucy Anne Harding's textile illustrations.

About Me

I am a freelance textiles and surface pattern designer that has a love for everything creative. With a passion for design, colour and art, I like to draw and translate these images in to designs, textiles and illustrations. There is a loose, free style approach to my initial drawings but I also have an eye for details and enjoy creating traditional, handmade pieces such as wallpapers, one off images and screen printed designs.

With the ability to use traditional, hand made approaches, I can also translate drawings into digital designs by using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Influenced by nature, architecture, old photographs and artists and designers and stores such as Sisters Gulassa, Matisse and Liberty, I continue to draw and design with the help of what has inspired me.
